PEX Plumbing

Houses are typically built with either copper or cPVC pipe. These rigid pipes are challenging and expensive to install because they have to be cut and fitted together at every twist and turn. These joints create pinch points where noise and knocking can occur.  Standard pipes can also freeze and crack in cold weather, causing water damage and great inconvenience to the homeowner.

A PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) plumbing system replaces traditional rigid pipes with flexible plastic tubing connected to the hot and cold water supplies through a central manifold. The tubing can be installed quickly in one continuous run, winding its way through your walls with ease.   This flexible and versatile system, known as a home run system, connectstwo dedicated lines from the manifold directly to each fixture in your home, allowing hot water to be instantly available.  This system saves you money in two ways:  less hot water is wasted getting it to the faucet and, the home run system is less expensive to install in both parts and labor.  This system is a real home run!
