Tankless Hot Water Heater

A typical hot water heater keeps a huge supply of hot water on hand for when you need it. This is like leaving a pot of tea boiling on the stove – day or night, whether you’re at work or at home – in case you get thirsty. Tankless water heaters “flash heat” your water the moment you turn on the faucet. When you turn the faucet off, they stop. Although it certainly takes a lot of energy to instantly heat cold water, this actually saves energy in comparison to keeping water hot all day when you’re not using it.

Tankless water heaters also have other benefits, not the least of which is that they are very compact, able to be tucked on the wall in a laundry room or closet, rather than taking up valuable floor space.
